Earliest I can get to Liverpool is 10:19 on the Saturday. Ferry leaves from pier head at 11:15, anyone been on ferry before and know how long before departure I’d realistically have to arrive at terminal? Website says 25 mins

There’s been plenty of singing at premier league games this weekend.

Sounds like it will be very well organised and has been well thought out. May be a hard question to answer but given the cross over between ST holders and patron contributors, I assume there should be plenty available for those of us who are listed as contributing to the fundraising efforts in the summer?

At least for league games with 1100 available

Is the live streaming compatible with an Ipad, or does it have to be a laptop? I know sometimes these things don't work on Apple products for some reason.

Depending on where in London and how much tube/bus travel was required I would be interested (if we fingers crossed get through on Sunday) in watching the subsequent game/games somewhere if it was arranged. Already made plans to watch it elsewhere this Sunday.

Its sunny here about 3 miles away. Bit cold and windy but bright sunshine , I cant see how the pitch will have deteriorated from 10am to 2:30pm and don't see how it would from now till Kick off given the forecast.

My local game.

Don’t expect the pitch to be great, and expect the facilities to be worse, although they are gradually improving bit by bit. Went there for the Kettering v Diamonds derby last season, attendance 2,000 ish and ground couldn’t cope In the slightest!

Two pubs in Burton Latimer (Olde Victoria and the Dukes Arms) if anyone is in the town  before kick off. There’s street parking available in the area around the ground

Try and ignore the smell, it’s just Weetabix, whose factory is immediately to the rear of the ground.

We were looking at heading south of the ground for pre-match drinks after starting in the Still and West early down near the docks, Leopold Tavern, Lawrence Arms, Golden Eagle, Nell Gwynne.

If these will be tricky for away fans though then may have to look at alternatives.

Any pub nearish to the ground earmarked for away fans?

I notice there's a good few pubs not far away.

Fantastic! Is this our biggest single game since Tottenham away in ‘95?

Let’s hope tv don’t muck it up too much! Looking forward to it.

Getting to Chorley (or anywhere near it) from the South East or the South Midlands by train on Sunday looks like being fun!

Euston shut all weekend, best suggestion on National rail so far is about a 4-5 hour journey each way via York/Sheffield and Manchester!

Any of the London Alty group found any better ways of doing it that I could look at? Otherwise it may have to be driving for me.

Cheers

Managed to switch my tickets to Wigan rather than Manchester and will get the bus to and from Chorley from there.

Altrincham FC First Team / Chorley (A)- 12th January

Booked train tickets to Manchester for the Chorley match, but I didn't realise there was possible strike action on Northern Rail every Saturday in January!

I am booked on the 18:35 back south from Piccadilly which would usually be fine for getting back from Chorley on the 17:38 train but not if the strike is on.

Will keep an eye on the strike details but anyone any suggestions of alternative routes that could get me back to Piccadilly in time if the strike goes ahead?

Very much looking forward to it! Cracking day out

Can't be any worse than the last time we played there and didn't have a shot!

Huge battle today, certainly didn't deserve to lose. Looked a penalty from where I was stood.  We're very close to being pretty good! Good Alty support as well

Huge Fa cup tie next week and then 3 winnable home league games in next 4 matches which will hopefully move us forward points wise.
