Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Halifax v Oldham

It's not a matter who your landlord is, if you want to be taken seriously as a professionally run football club you make provision. There's no way the NL will or should allow special dispensation. If you can't stage the fixture you forfeit the points, a basic rule from Sunday League to Premier League.
In their defence it's absolutely not their decision to make, as they don't own the ground - it's the council's, who don't give a crap about them.
That's not a defence, and it certainly isn't worthy of a professional entity with ambitions to be taken seriously as a potential member of the Football League. The RL Club have been tenants at The Shay since 1998, 10 years before AFC Halifax came into existence in 2008 following the demise of Halifax Town FC. The new phoenix club chose to become tenants with the RL club and this kind of issue was bound to arise sooner or later. As such they should've made forward provision, they clearly haven't. Too easy to 'blame the Council' - take some responsibility.
