Two fine players at that level if...they remain fit.

He's definitely a fabulous player, but it is worth noting that his injury problems didn't start with us. How many players can we potentially afford to carry as a full time outfit?

I don't think we'll go 433. There will be 3-5 players joining the club between now and the opening fixture. We are very clearly light up front, so I can see quite a lot of trialists being strikers.

All the exits were absolutely spot on.

Glad Ben Pringle is staying. Would just love to see a keeper and a right winger sign now.

Asante would be absolutely bonkers. As brilliant as he is, he's never ever fit. Dieseruvwe makes perfect sense but I suspect it will be a right winger to replace Mooney.

Wow! That is just remarkable news and has made my day.

Seen a few absolute stinkers v Slough (including I think a 7-3 home loss).

But for sheer depression, our defeat at Chorley in the relegation to Evostik season just about takes the biscuit. Fans heckling our own players, no players warming up before the match and subs who clearly did not want to come on. Absolute nightmare.

I suspect that our new full time model better supports young, fit and hungry players with sell on value. It certainly didn't do us any harm towards the back end of last season having these sorts of players in the team.

Surely, 26-year old Cam Mason at Southport needs to be a keeper we are looking at. Had a slice of ft action at Chesterfield a while ago and may fancy it again.

Hope it's Baines - would be a quality addition.

Crikey, that interview was awful - body language was not the best. Maybe that's just the way Dan is.

I think Dan has been amazing this season but it wasn't too long ago we were all a little concerned about his injury woes.
It's a shame but we move on.

A huge well done to York. I didn't think they had a cat in hell's chance of going up. Absolutely brilliant place to go.

Got a feeling that Parky will prefer younger players with a sell on value, which is why I can't see many highly paid 30 somethings coming our way.

All sorts of shenanigans at Fylde at the moment. Apart from the obvious, why would anyone want to be associated with them.
