Title: Witton on tuesday
Post by: ASMO on November 01, 2009, 10:04:03 AM
I know many fans think this competition is a waste of time but,a bit of relief from the league is maybe a good thing at the moment , and a chance for a win to give us back some confidence. Can Senior and Smith play in this game , not sure of the rules about them

Its a week on Tuesday mate.  Senior has served his ban now.

Smith cannot play but it doesnt count towards his ban due to the Cheshire FA being run by dinosaurs.

I think "dinosaurs" is being kind to them. I've always thought they were some form of plant life.

Has this lady's coach fare ended up in the correct pocket yet?

Why should I pay top-whack for this tinpot competition? I'd go if it cost a fiver, but £14? Nah.

Perhaps another season of joke crowds might make the county FA wake up.

at the risk of being trolled....you are surely not suggesting that you are charging £14 to get in for a CSC match

I believe the Cheshire County FA have indicated we must persist with our Conference admission prices for this competition.

Unfortunately our hands are tied by the Cheshire FA and we have to charge full price. However, we certainly won't be trying to hoodwink our opponents by trying to pass adult attendees off as kids.

Our admission price is £13, lets not give the conmen for the salt mines any more ammunition.

It will be £13 to get in, the crowd will be 137 and Witton will bring 9 and 4 people in suits.

Would it be worthwhile to run some sort of incentive for people who come to the CSC games? Perhaps a voucher for discounted entry to a specified future home game?

It's got to be worth trying something if it could potentially make the club a bit more oney from gate receipts.

Is that what you're actually charging or what you've told Cheadle Town you're charging?

Seriously though, if you can legitimately charge reduced prices this is something we need clarification on.

Why arent season tickets valid then? If it costs a season ticket holder nothing to get into a league match, surely it could be the same for the csc? If anything it would at least bump up the attendances.

All cup matches are excluded from the season ticket as the takings from cup matches have to be split between the clubs and (I think) the FA.

I don't think it's got anything to do with the away teams admission price otherwise we'd be able to lower our gate price to whatever Witton charge surely? It needs clarification though because either Vics are breaking Cheshire FA rules or we're getting ripped off!
