I hope we report the player to the FA and he gets the same sort of treatment that Robert Huth did. Horrible.

In the recent League match we got 4 yellow and 2 Reds to your 5 yellow, yet the fouls commited by us were 10 and by your lot 22
Pity we didnt play you in the 70's
Unfortuanately we wont get promoted this term so will have to play you again next season.

why should we hang our heads in shame? daft title for a post.
i think i saw this as it happened, smithy shouldnt have done it, but your plyer should hang his head in shame with his over the top reaction in trying to get smith sent off, he was running around happy as larry as soon as he realised the officials had missed it

I fail to see why we (the fans) should "hang our heads in shame".
Just enjoy your win and enjoy your day out in the next round. That's what normal people would be doing right now.

No excuse for that if its how it looks.

Look at the two footed lunge by your player at 1:20..if our player had spun four times in the air your guy would have got a red.
Look at your stone island clad thug fans running from the top to the bottom of the stand to scream abuse...hang your head in shame? We got called hooligans when three people shouted that at your players (during a warm down) that we nearly equalised.
Your holier than thou attitude is wearing very thin now.
Do what you have to do, report what you like but drop the perfect nonsense.

I thought a lunge was when both feet were off the floor? Watch it again please. You will see his feet are clearly on the floor. Less can be said for the foul on Silky at the end of the clip though. Ball going nowhere and your player still feels the need to go clean through him. Tidy.
Still lets not get off topic here. Horrible, horrible man to blatantly elbow him. I hope he gets punished by the FA accordingly.

Milnez, as a freshly qualified referee, I should have the correct opinion. Even if a player is rolling around on the floor behind you with a clearly broken leg, and he says a player has just snapped him off the ball, the referee can take no action because he has not seen the incident. A ref can only give what he sees.

Oh dear. Only about 2 of your players actually mention it to the ref. Im sure if there was any real issue all of your players would have been appealing to the ref and linesman

Where were all their fans then? All I could see was a 3 sided ground with vast swathes of empty yellow seats. That scoreboard is hilarious too, how were they ever in the Football League? their whole set up is befitting of a much lower standard. From the Chairmen's petty comments, Duffy's celebrations and the incessant carping on here for the past fortnight, it is clear that they are a small time club with a small time mentality to match on and off the pitch. They will be down here for years and deservedly so.
Milnez, I know it's Half Term this week so I assume we'll have another week of this drivel from the Mansfield keyboard warriors but wind it in, the game is done, you have a glamour tie at Forest Green Rovers to look forward to, why dont you go and annoy them.

The elbow is inexcusable.
But I too am sick of the amount of time spent talking about Mansfield town. Out of all the ex-league teams in the division, I definately get the least excited when we play them.
