It's as quiet on here as it was at Kiddy on Saturday!  Hopefully everyone is at the game in person.

BBC agree - header from Dougherty cross - get in!

How are we lining up?  Greg left back and Dougherty LM?  Williams and smith CBs?

get in there is it on t radio anywhere

No radio coverage I know of.  JL says Little hurt but resumes - Clee warming up.

Do we reckon these 1 month loan signings might stay longer if needed / any good.  I would guess the Man Utd right back is just to cover Shaun's suspension and give him a few games to get back from his injury but hopefully the Port Vale midfielder could be a longer term option?  Would Robbie be back in a month?

My brother says Moffat's pace is causing lots of probelms.

HT, I'll certainly take that for now. Hopefully a good BH turnout today, although the last two results won't have helped.

Col isn't close to fitness so thank the Lord we got 50 mins and a goal out of him.

Sure he bleeds Red & White.

JL update says Dale missed a sitter

BBC text had us having two shots in direct succession. I imagine it rebounded out to him.

This is Johnsons weakness, not being able to hit the back of the net to often.

Dale's injured too - wonder if GH mentioned a striker to Ole too when getting Moffy
Title: Re: Chester Match Thread

It may have been one of those split second reflex things but yes I agree, for his reputation and ability he needs a few more notches on his post.

another injury,last thing we need
Heff on for Johnson
Title: Re: Chester Match Thread
Post by: SW on August 31, 2009, 04:34:42 PM
Jeez, how injured?
Title: Re: Chester Match Thread
Post by: Bath Alty on August 31, 2009, 04:35:31 PM
Dale looked absolutely knackered at full time on Saturday so another game so soon was always going to result in some tiredness related injuries.  Nothing we can do about it with a squad this size and nothing we can do about having a squad this size while staying solvent!

Time for someone to make themselves a hero.....what price a Nicky Clee goal now?

Sh*t, evenin all. Been pissin it down all day here in Ireland, been at work (no bank holiday here) and slightly hungover from an excessive weekend.....was hoping for a bit of cheer on here, but never mind the result, all these injuries mounting up is seriously bad news......COME ON ALTY....make my day

1-1 fulltime at least we have stopped the rot

FT 1-1.
Title: Re: Chester Match Thread
Post by: Uncle Globnasty on August 31, 2009, 04:52:58 PM
hmmm.....VERY worried about more injuries though and possibly two points lost rather one gained....maybe it's just me and all this pissin rain....maybe I'll just go to bed
Title: Re: Chester Match Thread
Post by: SW on August 31, 2009, 04:53:04 PM
I suppose, but we are not getting too much luck just now.
Title: Re: Chester Match Thread
Post by: Bath Alty on August 31, 2009, 04:53:52 PM
All over 1-1

Not sure if that's a good result or not?  I suppose with recent results, injuries and new faces a draw is a decent result

Gotta be happy. The team and GH deserve credit for today - looked very worrying after Kiddy.

I hope Dale is ok - big fingers crossed!

Barbeque here in SW London tonight Uncle G, its quite a nice warm evening.

I don't normally get affected by the weather, but three years in a row over here now without a summer is seriously getting me down. Wouldn't mind, but I live in what is laughingly called "The sunny South East".

Next door neighbour was over in the UK recently for two weeks and said it only really rained one of the days (it pissed it down here every day).....goin in a bloody tent to a festival next weekend too...I foresee trenchfoot and typhoid....mumble, mumble, groan, groan

Enjoy the barbie my lucky friend
