i was just browsing the club website and was looking on some of the old match reports and things and i came across the match in which marcus hallows sufferedf that horiffic injury and i was wandering, has he got back into football? or did he have to call it quits?

believe he called it quits but not 100% sure

I am positive I read it on the site a while back that he had decided to call it quits. The injury was to severe to reconsider playing competitively again.
A real shame.

Indeed a massive shame....Marcus was highly underrated in my book and made a massive contribution to our promotion season. I was a massive Marcus fan and loved the Elvis celebrations particularly. Marcus was often left out of the side but to my knowledge never moaned or made a player power nuisance of himself and played his heart out when picked. I visited Marcus in hospital and as he sat there with his leg stapled together his main bone of contention was the ref hadn't given a penalty!
I'm sure we'll see marcus at Moss lane in the fututre ....sadly as a spectator though, I reckon he could have done a job in this league as the big target man we gets his fair share of goals we've been missing.

Must say I was a big fan of Marcus despite nearly being hit by his practise shots before kick off and at half time. He went out of his way to apologise to my son when he got in the way of a big one a - gent as well as a great player.
