Title: Re: Todays match thread
Post by: altyusa on March 28, 2009, 03:01:50 PM
After recent weeks no idea what to expect today, if we take the lead we don't seem to be able to hold it, if we go behind then we don't chase games well ( York away excepted), 0-0 is probably out of the question!  Who knows??!! ???

I was just going to say that Luis Cumbers has scored for Ebbsfleet and I know his brother Q - but Ian Payne went and did it before me!

Centre by Dale Johnson, Greg Young produces a shot from deep inside the six-yard box which goes wide of the right-hand upright.

How can you be "deep inside the six yard box"? Is that half way up the stand behind?

Afternoon all. I obviously missed gunners rant.....and maybe feel slightly guilty about the whole thing...did I set him off with my "f**ked tongue" comment?

Here's hoping for at least a point today. I'm only gonna catch the first half as I'll be setting off for Dublin to watch the Ireland Bulgaria game this evening.

I can only guess its concentration.

We need to stay solid. Crawley seem to have come back into the game statisticly - according to the BBC stats (as well as the goal of course).

FGR 2-1 Lewes

I'm not overly optimistic about today, they are not a team we do well against, Warren's goal excepted last time, so anything will do me. 3 points next week at Lewes will see us more or less ok I'm sure.

2-2 FT!  Think most of us would have taken that at 3, but disappointing again to concede so late.   At least we didn't lose, lost Welch by the sound of it, will we still have 11 fit players by the end of the season?
