that matt tubbs that i just saw score for sailsbury against nottingham forrest he looked like a good player and could do a job in the football league so maybe we could convince him to step up to confrence national level.

no. every year a player from the lower leagues is signed on the back of a good cup performance and every year they become expensive bench warmers, granted its usually a premiership team buying a league 1/2 player but its kinda the same thing so i'd say no.
several times i have seen player and i have thought, hey they could do a good job at xyz, but it turns out that it was a good performance on the day or the cameras, larger crowds, visiting team manager, its the way the FA cup is as much as i love it it does this

yeah good ponit it just looked like he was a good player and his goal had a touch of class about it but i do see where your coming from so have a goodwin or two

1) He's probably on more at Salisbury than we could pay him.
2) He lives at the other end of the country.
