Title: grays attendence
Post by: golf roader on November 25, 2006, 09:02:08 PM
according to the bbc website the attendence was about 721,is this what grays normally get in or is there a reason for the gate being so low.

and how many Alty fans travelled down?

I think Grays fans to an extent have been spolit with all their sucess over the last few years and now they are struggling in the league (certainly at home) the floaters have gone away. I noticed in the programme their average gates seemed well down in general from last year, and the biggest gates-Cambridge, Aldershot-were ones where the away team would have brought a lot. Also, natural West Ham country and now their takeovers been sorted that could have a negative effect too.

It shows how fickle alot of supporters can be!!

Thkey have had a good run over the last few years, hopefully they will turn it around.
