Ecky,

For what was perhaps the only time tonight I was in the perfect position to adjudicate and sadly from your perspective it was nowhere near even on the line, never mind over it

The time for sentiment is gone. Im not saying that Ecky hasnt done a good job for us over the years but its time for a change to freshen things up.

Now im not one to spread rumours but following the supporters 5-3 defeat last night Mark was believed to be at home with his family considering his options.

One of these being to sue the "Staff" team for one of 3 reasons;

1. Playing people who are clearly supporters and not staff
2. Having 4 goalkeepers but refusing to lend us 1 due to injury
3. Have more ringers in there team than a washing machine

Long live the fans  8)

Having not watched the game and only read the report I feel that I am perfectly placed to accuse ecky of playing far too defensive and despite supporters please I also feel that he is responsible for not  attracting football league standard players despite the wages he was offering.  Its time for a change perhaps Sven will take on the role next year, without change it will be the same old story and i for one am sick of it.

I have to be honest. I want to end my career as a top striker with the Altrincham Supporters team, I think I could keep playing until at least 24, maybe 25. I have received offers from other supporters teams and turned them down.  However, if Ecky goes, I may have to reconsider my position and leave for a new challenge.  Ecky is the best thing for this supporters team and we'd be in a worse position without him.

;)

I second that decision. I'm normally dodgy on goal-line decisions. But I'm 100% sure I got that right.
