Title: Another managerless side plays Alty
Post by: Jez on October 30, 2006, 02:26:46 PM
Rumours on Crawley and confguide say John Hollins has left crawley.
Their deadline to pay their cva is today 4pm.

So we may or may not face yet another team who has just parted company with their manager.

Do chairmen look at their ficture list and say "ah we're playing Alty next, lets get rid of the gaffer"

What IS going on down there?

They probably won't pay up today now.

Perhaps we may have an extra week to get the squad fit eh?

Or the game is off due them getting booted out (which should have happened last season).

Feel for the genuine fans, but from a purely selfish point of view one less relegation place to avoid (not that I have any doubt we'll remain clear of the bottom 4 anyway).

Again brings home how lucky we are with what we've got.

I feel sorry for Scarboro. Might as well have let them stay up and got rid of Crawley last season.

Lets be honest if you neeed money and you get Lewes in the FA Cup and lose then you're doomed. That was an easy £10,000 for them and they blew it.

A lot of Lewes players (over half the team, I think) were ex Crawley - they had a point to prove on Saturday and they did it!

Picking up on the Scarborough thread, have you seen there table?

They are bottom and even without the points deduction they would be at the bottom.

A real fall from grace, and in alot of ways undeserved?

They kept there pride last year, hope they bounce back.

Yes, it's tragic what's happened to them.
I really hope they pull round enough to stay up in the CN - obviously their gates have suffered too.
