I imagine it is the areas out of the sun that did not thaw!

My son played at 11 and the pitch was barely playable and it was in the sunshine

Don't forget Weymouth have well over 200 miles to travel. Assuming they didn't come yesterday?

Not to be cynical or anything, but they would prefer to play a team on a Tuesday night that has just travelled the length of the country.

We have been a much better second half team of late. If we can hold on to a one goal deficit and then bring on Senior (60-70 mins), a draw could still be on the cards.

I'd be delighted if they ended up with just a point now.  It was always going to be a winnable game for them, if we can get a point it would soften the blow.

Would like to see Senior on early to try and change it.

Farsley 2 Woking 0. Last 2 minutes Woking players 'score', lino says it never crossed the line despite the reaction of the players. Minute later Woking 'score' again and it's given offside in a 100% crappy decision according to t'wireless.

The BSP and the refs are determined to stop our charge to the title...

Well it shows Woking are making a fist of it, hopefully they will turn it round but we really do not need to be relying on other teams results, it is in our own hands, come on Alty, lets do this in the 2nd half.

I can only guess a lack of match fitness took its toll.

We are still ahead of Farsley and seemed to have the better of the 2nd half. Can prob write Farsley's result off as just "One of those games"

Really now, I think that it will be games like this that make the difference at the end of the day. If we can pull off a shock at one of the bigger clubs, it will put us in a better position when all the teams around us play each other

Little, Senior and Cahill are all capable of scoring goals. Surely we need to be playing all three of them in home games against weaker opposition (some might argue, in ALL home games with Senior out wide). As for today, most of us expected us to lose and quite a few of us expected Farsley to win, so in that sense nothing lost. Crawley at home is winnable, as is Forest Green. These are now the games we must concern ourselves with. I fear that Farsley and Vics may have numbers on their side now that Carlos has left. I wonder if there is any chance of picking up a few free agents just to give us a few options.

Anyone reckon its worth another look at James Dean after being dumped by Bury?

no we would have scored if we had more chances, the fact is we didnt create enought in midfield, our build up play is shocking and our forwards dont see enough of the ball to have an chance of scoring against teams that have any organisation in midfield or defence

Personally no, he seemed a prima Donna.

seemed a tight game today, but we did not score. Someone needs to help Colin.

Cahill and little did a good job, and i think senior and o'neil both played well (as did the rest of the team) when the came on.

I feel really sorry for Joe. He didnt have the best starts to the season. but since new year has never failed to impress in his cameo role in the last 20 minutes of most matches.

Have to say it was a predictably awful game. Rushden just about deserved the win, we were completely clueless for most of the first half, couldn't string 2 passes together. Second half we came out and were better (well, we had to be really) but didn't look really threatening going forward. After the recent good run and what with the next two being Torquay and Exeter away our bubble has been burst a bit.

Just to add to what others have said the stewards were completely and uneccesarily over the top. On an interesting side note Rushden's programme breaks down the attendance into home and away fans, prospective full time Farsely managed to take..............20 to Nene Park.

I am bored and I know how we all love a good attendance thread so here goes (league games only)

Farsley (midweek) 20
Ebbsfleet 70
Kiddy 234
Crawley (midweek) 60
Burton 313
Grays (midweek) 48
Stafford 88
FGR (midweek) 62
Oxford (midweek) 426
Histon (midweek) 141
Stevenage (Boxing Day) 644
Vics 102
Salisbury 90
Weymouth 104
Halifax 80

So our 115 is pretty good then, only the localish sides or the ex League boys managed more. They have Aldershot at home the last day, they might just take a few...

Yeah they did well, however they annoyed me a little in the first half with all the little flicks that kept giving the ball away.

Thought we looked a little jaded at times, we havent made many changes to the side since nyd, and players like Robbie who are usually full of running looked a little tired.

Can't believe Stafford only took 88!
Also, it can't be right that Halifax only took 80 there! Surely they took more than that?
