Can anyone tell me why Alty Stewards were employed at the match today.
The reason I ask is that an Alty Steward assaulted one of our Junior Supporters.
So if anyone wants to know why it all kicked off at the final whistle.................THATS WHY
Talking to the lad, who was clearly distressed, he has excepted an apology for an apparent misunderstanding and won't be taking the matter any further, as the head steward wanted to sort this matter out quietly........
Very lucky Alty BAR-Steward.......wonder if he has an SIA Licence.

Because your club is a joke Mat, if you can't fulfil a fixture with your own set of stewards you should lose 3 points. Sorry.

I don't know what happened, I wasn't there, but normally when things "aren't taken any further," there is good reason. I.E. what was the "misunderstanding" and who caused it. It would take me a lot to question the integrity of our skilled and qualified stewards who i would guess were at the game because it was felt the Vics stewards would not cope.

Any explanation why a bald headed "Gentleman" with Northwich colours decided to bang into me (little effect) so decided to elbow my 20 year old daughter in the stomach on the way past as we returned to our car?

He just walked up to him and assaulted him did he? Of course he did. The amount of gobby 15 yr olds I saw, a few more should have got a hiding.
Didn't see our stewards behavoiur.
I did see your steward throw off his stewards jacket, charge through four other stewards and assault an Alty fan though. You don't seem to want to discuss that though....

that isnt what happened at all. The kid was right at the front mouthing off at the alty fans he tried to get passed but couldnt. He kept going so when he didnt stop the steward restrained him onto the floor. If he is distressed it his is own fault. He was clearly looking for trouble.

so i lost it on boxing day but i wasn't assualted because iwalked off the pitch and walked away i didn't start swearing and all the rest of it scousers are all the same gobish T**ts i don't mean the scouse continduancy of liverpool based players in the alty team they are very kind people and talk to u

for a start we had 8 men on the pitch and you only managed a 1-2 victory you scrapped the 3pts today typical of us to throw it away
however good luck for the rest of the season hopefully we will both stay up and look forward to many more great derbys

Altrincham equalised and took the lead against ten men. We didn't need to keep scoring because you kept shedding players.

Happy New Year to you too. I also hope we both stay up. The honest truth is though, and you forgot to mention this, is we looked better than you when it was 11 v 11. I have to admit i was impressed by the bravery shown by your lads in the second half and the passion shown by players like Carr, seriously let down by some of his team mates.

if im honest i could have done without being punched in the mouth by a northwich steward for critisising the northwich stewards poor performance for a 2nd year running. i hear that he was talking to people in vics' bar after the game and is claiming he was spat at, it certainly wasnt by me, i wouldnt do that to my worst enemy. im considerining pressing charges as the CCTV will clearly show i acted in self defence!

Some inspired chanting by vics mob today, just sang everything back to us like smartarse 10 yr olds. not one witty comment from 200 or so lads whilst we gave them loads.
I expected more from a local derby. Actually I didnt, clueless as they are!

lets get this right it was a vics steward that was involved in this not an alti steward please get the facts right and i would like to speak to the lad so as i know what went on if you have a problem with this i shall be at the club tomorrow from 12pm till 3pm

Get the jeans and trainers brigade that have "bought" your football club to employ their own f**king stewars of you dont like it, I personally dont think your club should have a safety licence seeing as you cant stage an event without outside help.

I find this (although not as big) similar to the teacher and the teddy bear incident. The country(forget where) had been begging for help and when it finally arrives, they complain about it. Same as northwich. They need help with stewards (because thery are too damn lazy to employ their own), and when we do help them, they complain about it.

I wonder if it was the same Northwich idiot steward who for the past two seasons has got into nasty confrontations between himself and our supporters at that horrible place? The same guy who, when spotted in KFC after the game by some of our supporters, ran off, jumped into a car and shouted "f**k off" out of the window at them?
It's just a shame we will never play there again so he can't get his just desserts. It's lucky our fans are relatively nice - can you imagine what would happen if Northwich ever had to play a real match and he started mouthing off to some Bradford or Cardiff? He would be ripped limb from limb!
It wouldn't surprise me if it was the same bloke who assaulted one of your supporters yesterday.

On the pitch we self destructed and if the tables were turned I daresay we would have had little sypathy for your cause either. But it was dissappointing to here you guys boo when Jake Speight had to be carried off on a stretcher. Well done on the win.

There were some boos when Speight first went down - I thought for a split second from where I was stood that he took a dive - but it was clear pretty much straight away that it was a bad injury. All I heard from our fans when he was carried off was applause.

There was a drunken Witton fan stood right behind me who was booing him for apparently going down too easily and then when he was stretchered off.

All around me clapped him off on the stretcher. There was initially boos as he seem to go down with no-one near him. Then it was realised he was hurt, and he was applauded off.

James if an Alty steward or myself had reacted like that yesterday they wouldn't be welcome at the club. As a steward you can use reasonable force to either restrain or protect yourself but not violence

to be honest, i think tinno might have got him somehow, as he backed off immediately and then realised the guy was injured and went over. As tinno had backed off, it looke dlike he had fallen over and we have seen his reaction time and time again froma diving player, and since there was no-one there, this is what it looked like, so we booed. We saw he was hurt and then applauded him off the pitch.
Anyway, hoep the lad has a speedy recovery

If I have it wrong then I do apologise, I can only go on what I heard. I will concide that it did stop after 30 seconds or so, but still, it was obvious to me (on the back row of the Dane Bank) that the lad was seriously injured - immediately.
To the serious problem of "thugs" on the pitch I can only say that I bet Mr Wilson and Mr Brown are more than a little ashamed for letting themselves and their club down, I have no doubt it cost us three points.
But I feel I must add that Josh and Ryan have been two of our most consistantly better players this season. Local derby and all that. Apologies again for our lack of discipline on the pitch,we got what we deserved - nothing.

darren thats where the problem is in todays youths yes ur going to say i'm one but not like most of them it's about time these kids were clipped round the ear or disciplined cause they are creating havok and they show know respect to anyone or anything. darren i agree m8 about u not been able to use to much force but it's rediclous one kid gets T**ted and theres up raw if it had been one of our adult supporters that had been T**ted and that supporter hit him bk the steward would be getting him thrown out the ground it's a joke.

It was one of our adult supporters who got punched at Northwich James,not a kid. And as for saying you should be able to discipline kids with a good hiding,how many slaps would you have had this season for your antics!!
