Title: Calling all Patrons - you can now renew
Post by: andrewflynn on June 08, 2022, 03:12:14 PM
As mentioned on another thread earlier this week, it looks like the club have blended the successful and well supported Patrons scheme into a new initiative called LoyAlty that has four tiers.

It looks like these are now available to purchase / renew if you are an existing Patron.

Don't know if anyone on here will know the answer to this but am I right in assuming this also replaces the Alty Rewards scheme (which I have a £10 a month direct debit set up for)? If so, are we meant to cancel the direct debit for that? Or will the club stop taking payments?

I've asked the question.

Club are cancelling them according to Twitter; but I would have thought that £60/£120 they may have just continued the £100

I'd be more inclined to £16 p/m for a VIP card than £200 having just spent £300ish on ST.

I think this is a very good idea. All a little bit of structure.

I would say possibly though that patrons should possibly also get priority for tickets (after the other 3 categories and season ticket holders of course) as kind of happened during covid times the past year or so as otherwise people who contribute £50 for not very much other than goodwill will not get very much.

Edit: as in they shouldn’t get very much, but I think the priority would be just about right.

I’ll probably just renew as a patron again regardless anyway.

We've obviously already bought our season tickets but will probably wait to see if Parky stays before deciding on this.
Sorry if that sounds a bit callous.

The club aren't offering DD but Klarna. Not my cup of tea tbh given their reputation, but tempting.
