Way off topic and before my time. What happened to the money from that payday?

RIP to the best keeper of my generation, & a true gentleman.

RIP Ray, excellent keeper of his day.
Our game at Anfield lives long in my memory still, GH scoring the penalty etc against a world class keeper.
-
Ah yes, remember it well!!
-
Wasn't he the Liverpool player who bet the cote he'd miss the penalty and paid up after the game or is my memory playing tricks?

I think it was Ray Kennedy...or Alan Kennedy.

Sorry to hear the sad news of the death of a World Class keeper. (Ray Clemence)
Condolences from one Ray to another RIP fella

Best keeper I ever saw play.
-
Great keeper... if it wasn't for Peter Shilton he would easily have won over 100 England caps... leading up to the 1982 World Cup they used to alternate both as Management could not seperate the two as to who was best... however from the 1982 WCup onwards England plumped for Shilton as No.1...
Clemence won 61 England caps, Shilton 125 caps...
Both great keepers in their day... RIP Ray! :(
