How are we doing for 'keepers?

We needed cover for Stuart a couple of times last year - any signs of extra cover there?

If Acton is happy then I'd keep him as stand by. Very reliable in my eyes

I think Acton is at least as good as Coburn. He just needs to learn to kick straight.

Think someone has been smoking a few doobies Baldrick, Acton is more than adequate cover but that is it, dont compare any keeper in the last ten years at Alty to Coburn, he is a different class. You watch the end of season DVD, some of the matches we won were simply down to him. Maybe you have not seen Stu at his peak but there is no keeper I would feel safer with than him

I think both of them are among the best in this division. The original post suggested a third keeper might be needed but it is unrealistic to expect a quality goalkeeper to hang around just incase the other two get injured.

I think I read in the info that Jake has played in goal in the past so if it was necessary, he may be able to cover. Like Chrissie Adams did a couple of times.

"where not really here" wanted to keep Chris Adams instead of Acton for 2nd choice keeper, but he was a big chrissy adams fan
