Hull City are advertising that their supporters can go to the J Davidson stadium today to watch Manchester United ladies v Hull City ladies. There’s equality for you

Fans have been attending games at various levels recently. The North West Counties clubs have been playing in the FA Cup and League Cup games in the past couple of weeks with fans present. I'd imagine it's down to the numbers expected.

Its down to the level we are at - Altrincham FC are Elite Sports, and the DCMS has not yet released permission for Elite Sports clubs to host spectators at games.
Be thankful we are Elite - without it there would have been no playoffs!!

I appreciate that, it just makes these draconian restrictions even more laughable. It’s like saying Michael Flatley can’t perform at the Garrick theatre but The stretford high school Irish dancers can. If the venue is fit for one friendly then it should be fit for another. Appreciate it is totally beyond the clubs control.

I know mate, I’ve attendance matches myself. I’m more talking about the venue being for one and not the other

And also, will the fixture this afternoon count as a test event?

If they're not learning from every event like this I'll be furious. There's always stuff to learn, particularly in a situation like this.

Cars parked all over the footpath on Moss Lane for this game. Can't the same protocols apply for putting the cones out for the ground rental games as for Alty's own games?

Depends if there is anyone to do it, Believe or not its never been a legal requirement with TBC to coin off Moss lane

Our own womens' team have a WFA Cup tie at home to Northwich Vixens, who beat Didsbury, behind closed doors, today. I believe that's planned to be played at Moss Lane on Sept 20th, so hopefully that will count as a test event for the capacity, even if nothing else does.

Pretty much sums it up!
As fans, we have the intelligence to make our own minds up.
