'Maunders' reminds us of where we were. Those awful dark days and hours, a bleak counterpoint to where we are now.
I never liked that kit, despite owning one.

Got to say I liked the collar and buttoned front as opposed to the round neck style

Love thie kits, that trip to Spurs with Frank Sidebottom kicking in (what the Spurs fans thought ?) great memories.
The Maunders bit, well it just shows what this club is made of to recover, and were we are now.
I'll buy both to go with my 97-8 shirt.

To recreate a past Alty shirt to such a pain-staking level of detail is no mean feat - I think that it cannot be understated how much hard work must have gone into this. Well done to the lads, whilst the clubs own offerings have themselves vastly imrproved over the years, I never thought I would see the day that Alty fans would be able to buy something like this.
I will be purchasing both - I just hope the XL fits me! ;D

Thanks Freddie - it really has been a labour of love over the last eight months - certainly kept us busy before the playoffs.
This really is a one-off opportunity to own these kits again; once we order, there will be no 2nd run (people missed out on masks/badges/hats), so please do purchase before 4th September.

Believe it or not I once had a piece published in the Moss Lane Mouth as German Alty (I suppose Trier Alty was too obscure...)
As for Maunders, at least he left us with a club in the end, and gave us days like Tottenham (even if the money wasn't exactly reinvested in the team), so I would be quite happy to wear that shirt in memory of our last decent season (never forget where this club wants to be). I don't know what happened to mine anyway (if I did get one) so perhaps it's time to buy another to go with my hat. (I live in the past anyway so it would suit me :) I'm still annoyed that Constable goal was disallowed)
That shirt did seem a bit of a change at the time but has become a classic and hopefully, the new shirt for this season can do the same

Never thought we'd have a chance to buy Alty retro kits; so hats off to u guys...
Last update seemed to be on your twitter page on Oct12 which said kits on way to quality control and once inspected would be sent onto you for packaging and sending out... no update last 2wks so assume any delay due to Covid/staffing issues at wherever being inspected... hopefully we'll get these beauties soon...
Keep up the great work you're doing to benefit the club!

Sorry for the lack of update, we've been chasing our supplier whose then been chasing the manafacturer to chase up the postage.
Global pandemic was the never the best time to launch but we're popping something extra in with kits by way of apology for the delay
