Absolutely brilliant. Just reward for years of being the most bent club in the football league.

Financially also a real boon for the club as opposed to Stevenage.

I can see them being put in National North for accumulated misdemeanours in the way Boston United were. Whatever happens, I expect them to struggle.

I bet Elliott Durrell is already working on a very special goal celebration routine !

New chant for the special day :

Our players get paid, our players get paid,
This  isn't the Moss Rose,
Our players get paid !

One thing, however, with their relegation and already having financial difficulties...

 - are they still in need of investment?
 - if so, are they likely to have less chance of getting it now?

So...can they afford to even play in The National League next season? Do they have the resources?

Will they be allowed in the NL?

They havent gone bust,.. just been deducted points so finished bottom.
I presume they will now have to demonstarte to the NL they have funds to continue.
They will get parachute payments from EFL dont forget so will still have more money than us once the fans do their usual and magic up some more money.
Less travelling and another local derby, might even be on for the xmas double?

Fully agree. I can see them rejected at the national level. Financially they always seem to get by, but wait long enough and everyone's luck changes, and they have no real strategy to rely on even in the best of times.

It's certainly a very similar position to Boston MORALLY, but they're not in administration like Boston were.

Yes, that's a good point, and I assume they still qualify for a parachute payment, not that they would use it to pay the players or anything like that.

Who else had a punt on them to be relegated? In negotiations with Bet 365 as if I can expect a pay out.

Just been a short item on Granada Reports. From the responses by locals a lot of undeserved sympathy exists from people who haven't got a clue what's really gone on.
