Firstly the highlights are exceptional as always
Secondly which is your pick of the goals ??
Hard to choose but for me it is number 4 .
Team closes the opposition takes control and bang
Amazing
Up the reds

The wee little chip from ED for the second goal. Oozed arrogance / confidence. Yup. That goal for me.

For me the first goal is the best. Brilliant movement from Dens and a great chipped ball over by Lundstram and then a really confident finish by Elliott.

He gets his criticism but Peers drove us forward when he came on, had a part in the last two goals, did so well to win the corner for Hannigan's goal. The ball carry is the only thing we are missing from JJ. At times we become far too narrow.
Peers is a good impact player from the bench.

Excellent coverage.
Really enjoyed watching all 5 goals.

I've said it for a while but I genuinely think Peers is one of the most underrated players in the team. I don't know what it is but he always looks like he will have an impact. He also gets too much criticism for his finishing which most of the time is excellent.

This last point - there's a reason we're usually the league's top scorers. We'll miss Hulme, Hancock and Peers when they're long gone and we can't find one goalscorer at all.
To have someone as decent as Peers in backup who is willing to accept his bit-part and still clearly loves playing for us will be very hard to find.

I also think Peers chips in with very important goals at vital times. The York away cup games, and also the goal away at Halesowen in the cup. Plus a couple of seasons ago V Shaw Lane at home, his goal kickstarted their drubbing that Tuesday night.

Bloody hell Shaw Lane, I'd almost forgotten about them.

Tom Peers's departure to FCUM last season came at a bad time for Altrincham leaving us a bit short of cover for Jordan Hulme. He might not be the best at the close passing game we like to play, but he's fast and fit and is a good striker.
