Title: Trains to Kings Lynn Sat 2 Nov

For info to intending train travellers - BR website says engineering work between Ely & Kings Lynn on Saturday & Sunday; replacement bus service in operation, leaving Ely at 4 minutes past the hour & taking 1hr 23 min to reach Lynn.

Aye. Was planning on getting the train for the novelty of it but the replacement bus was the final straw. Journey is hard enough without that nightmare added into the equation.

Not that I can go but I know London Alty have wisely sorted out a mini-bus for the Ely-Kings Lynn leg which will shave a good amount of time off the standard and very slow RRB service.
