There's news about Ashley Hemmings on the club's website now.

Heading the Harriers way.

Was supposed to sign for us back in August but it fell through

He’ll be signing for Kidderminster because we can’t offer him full time football. Kidderminster have just been taken Over by a consortium of local businessmen and can offer him full time football. We can have another coffee morning or something, for how much longer must we be held back ffs

No ones interested in investing in nonleague football etc etc

This is a crushing blow for Altrincham FC - both in terms of tomorrow and in terms of how the club moves forward.

We shouldn't even be in the situation where we're lamenting a loan player being recalled.

We are where we are because in the summer we didn't manage to lock off that position with permanent quality. Nathan Arnold was a gamble and it is looking very costly now.

Defeat tomorrow pretty much ends of our season.

The prize money for losing in R1 and winning tomorrow needs to be invested in proven quality winger.

But I suppose we'll take a chance on some kid from Evo Stik Midlands 1 then loan him out to Trafford instead.

Some very poor recruitment decisions in the summer.

Absolutely gutted.

His ball use and retention was unreal.

Ceesay still injured. I wonder how good Archer is because we are now very much short on wingers.

I fear but hope that it doesn't change how we approach the game. Nowhere near as confident.

Recall lewis Walters?

Not setting the league below alight so guessing we need better.

Unfortunately we need a lot better than Walters.

As stated above a summer of signing dross (with the exception of Malarkey).

Another blow is losing his crossing from dead balls and corners. Please don't let JJ go back to doing both sides.

Why couldn't this have waited for Monday given he is already cup tied for us? >:(

Can only think they don't want to risk injury to an 'asset'.

Kick in bollox whatever the reason is

I would like to thank Ash for his efforts again for us. This now gives an opportunity for someone else to step in and step up. Lets hope whomever is selected does step up. Great prize money on offer today and chance to be in the first round draw.

Come on Alty. I'll be there later.

Unless a full time outfit comes in for him too. That's where we are I'm afraid.

Another blow but a reminder how poor our signings were over the summer.

Not one of them improved our starting 11.

We haven’t replaced Branson yet, now need a winger as well.

Big few months for the team and PP.

He's Blackpool's player, so it would only be a problem if they released him, as Fylde have done with Ash. I wish Ash well - Kidderminster is local for him so it's a logical move.
