I heard he had a bad attitude.

I'm sure there were questions raised in the house a good few years ago when we had a rather talented player on our books fresh from borstal?

Anyone remember his name?
And maybe we might offer another one a chance of redemption in due course!

I think you are remembering Paul Edwards, who we had on day release from Risley in 2001. As soon as he was released, he joined Swindon Town on full-time terms.

I am sure there is a whole team of ex-cons or convicts to be who have played for us!

Whilst not offering up any excuse for the lad, it doesn't sound like he had the most ideal upbringing - no mum and a criminal dad who took him out on raids.

But anyone that shaves a line into their eyebrows deserves to feel the full force of the law.
