In all honesty, just the left wing berth to sort now and we are good to go for next season.

Apparently Fylde have signed a left winger from Rochdale putting Ashley Hemmings further down the pecking order you would have thought

Pleasantly surprised with Ben and James staying - I honestly thought they were gone. Tommo deserved his deal after the back end of last season. Hoping for Ash to return now...

We set up for last season with 4 centre backs (Hannigan, Jones, Harrison, Goulding), therefore it seems as if this is what Phil & Neil are looking for.

I understand what you're saying, but I guess having 4 out-and-out full-backs is a luxury slightly beyond us for now - especially with people capable of providing emergency cover.
Would rather keep the wage free for forward options as and when we feel like we need them (e.g. loans).

He's contracted for another season, so I assume they'll give him every chance in pre-season to prove himself.

Wouldn't worry too much, I am sure Phil and Neil will sort something soon. Some contracts expire end June for leagues above I think, but correct me if I am wrong.

Ash Hemmings has played the majority of his career in the midlands or south of the country so I’d be very surprised if he went part time with a northern club.
