Title: Phil and Neil
Post by: alty.fc on March 09, 2019, 06:01:10 PM
When you joined here we were at out lowest Ebb . 2 relegations poor crowds and no atmosphere

No leadership..we were Broken

It's incredible we are even in play off contention this year alone

Thank you

Totally agree. Not just Phil and Neil, the whole backroom staff. And well done to the board for appointing them

Unreal turnaround as part time status.

Both know a decent player and no-one can complain about the recent efforts made to bring players in, which was desperately needed for a playoff chance.

They have my respect and may this climb continue. The possibility of playing Macc next year when at a point last year we were in the Evostick and they won the National League into League Two

May I add all the backroom staff and board have been excellent in supporting the management and team.

Yes I will add to that too. Very grateful to what Phil and Neil, the backroom staff and indeed the players too have achieved in last two seasons. Not just the success of last season, but carrying it into this season too. Teams we have played have had a string of results until they play us, I notice we have ended a few teams 'good runs' this season, not least yesterday.

Next week we have a difficult game V Brackley, but we have players and strength in all departments. Well done to management team again and backroom staff. Lets keep this run going, we have nothing to lose and if we do compete in the playoffs, I don't think teams will relish playing us. Great win yesterday, and what a goal!

Indeed. This time 2 years ago we were all in the pit of despair. The club still needs investment to go further, but the management team have worked wonders to propel us up to the Conference North play offs zone. And for me, the attractive style of football, which the players seem to have really embraced, has been a massive bonus. Good times.

Blackpools crowd returned yesterday. 15000 there. It will be interesting to see if it has any impact on Fylde

It took over 4 years for them to return after Oysten finally went.

The Oystons were chucked out by the administrators only 2 weeks ago (Oyston snr and his daughter in law)

That's what I said. 1st home game since Oysten went. I'm not saying we'll get a full house once Rowley goes but the boycotters may well return. It has nothing to do with how well we are performing on the pitch which some people just don't get.
