Title: Bernard Taylor Flag

A couple of us are planning on getting a flag done for the Golf Road for Bernard.

Similar to the one we had made for Coburn a couple of years ago. A small tribute to a bloke who did a lot of good for the club.

Hopefully it will be the picture of him with the Northern Premier title and with something underneath that. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to have on it? Maybe Bernard Taylors Red and white Army? Or, as Ecky suggested, "For the fans" as that was something he said a lot.

Any suggestions welcomed. Will keep people updated.

Great idea - Bernard is a club legend, particularly for those of us that were able to celebrate some exciting times with him during his 2 reigns as manager. I agree with Ecky, “For the Fans” was his motto and he loved the Golf Road faithful as much as we loved him.

Agree with for the fans.  Bernard Taylors Barmy Army was how we were known at the time

I've created a PayPal pool for donations towards the flag. Any contribution is more than welcome. The flag costs £150.
