Joe Thompson was also at Crewe Alexandra last season, where he seems to have scored a few goals for the U18s.

Well I doubt we’ll see much more of Bay Downing given that he’s gone to Salisbury, with its beautiful cathedral and 123 metre high steeple.

I see all three new players, after turning out for the reserves on Saturday, are playing for Trafford in the league cup tonight.
I assume they are all getting match fit for at least some of them to be on the bench on Saturday.
