Title: Southport sack Kevin Davies
Post by: One Foot in the Grave on April 30, 2018, 11:08:47 PM
See Club site.

They want a manager with relevant experience, and aren't advertising since they've "identified a shortlist".

They should have done that before appointing a rookie manager who was a respected player. It seldom works.

I wonder if Neil Young is on that list ?

They wanted someone with experience of winning this league.

Please let it be him...

Nope - It's a third spell at the Miseryrail Stadium for Liam Watson. Perhaps it was a shortlist of one.....

Morley added: “We have always given everything to the club and although we couldn’t come to an agreement on our future we would like to thank the club for the opportunities they have given us. The fans have been exceptional and we will miss them but want to wish the club every success in the National League."

And that boys and girls is how to draft a Non Disclosure Agreement.

Chris Casper for Salford I think, and billy heath is the new gaffer at Alfreton

Chris Casper probably favourite , Nicky Butt and or Paul Scholes also mentioned. Outside bets could be John Askey or John Sheridan

On the other hand, I imagine Morley and Johnson will be very attractive for some of those big, under-achieving National League North clubs such as York, Stockport and Chester.

Agreed, bet Southport wish they hadn't gone straight for the easy option. Harrogate could opt for a change.
