Title: The 100th goal

It is so difficult to score from an indirect free kick in the penalty area when your opponents can simply build a blockade to nullify your efforts.

What Jake did yesterday was fantastically skilful. I hoped our 100th would be special in some way - and it was !

Missed the goal due to wandering fans in the main stand blocking view, thankfully will catch on AltyTV

You never seem to get a goal from those back pass to the goalie indirect free kicks right in front so goal, so this was a rare treat. And great that it was Jake who got it. Do we think that was why he got the chance to take it?

On the subject of the back pass rule though, isn't the offence committed by the keeper picking up the ball rather than they player that made the pass? If so surely the kick was taken from the wrong place.

You obviously didnt see Jake doing rock, paper scissors, with JJ.

It was fitting that Jake scored the 100th goal. I hope he can do the same next season.
