Amazing how she kept up her breakneck determination campaigns for the things she strongly believed in almost right up to the end.
Very sad to hear even though it was expected news.
Condolences to her family
Sad loss to the club and the wider football world.

She achieved her final ambition, which was to know we had won the title.  She made an incredible impact on football the length and breadth of the country.  Her heart was always at Moss Lane.  Another light has gone out

Absolutely gutted, but as others have said, we've known this has been coming for some time now. It is a testament to her resilience and fighting spirit that she lived as long as she did, confounding all in the process. I have known Jacqui for a long time and she was always so proactive with the club and her efforts would put most others to shame.

So, so sad, but I am glad she is no longer suffering and also heartened to hear that she did get to know we had won the title (I know she had thought that she wouldn't see the day).

I'm not a believer, but if there is a better place, then she has surely gone there.

My sincerest condolences to her husband, brother, family and friends.

RIP a true Alty STAR.

May she rest in peace. She was always very friendly to me and others have said all that needs to be said about her determination and fighting spirit. I hope that in due course a way will be found to keep her name and her memory alive at AFC, but in the meantime deepest condolences to all her family & friends.

Extremely sad news. I was thinking of her this weekend when we won the title. I knew her through the Alty Exiles and Alan Johnson introduced me to her on one of my rare visits to Moss Lane. What a horrible year it has been to lose so many of our supporters.

Spoke to Jacqui earlier this season and she spoke kind words about my late wife Jill.

Such a lovely lady who will be missed tremendously by people that knew her.

Condolences to her family and her many friends.

RIP Jacqui.

Very sad news.  The first person I ever spoke to at a game (other than my dad) having only ever been an exile.  She was so keen to welcome everyone to her beloved Alty.

What a fight she put up to make it through to the title being won, so many months more than she was 'given' , so pleased she won that personal battle.

She will be missed by many in the game

As said, we knew it was coming but still very sad. Jacqui was the one who got me to first don Rocky Robin whilst launching STAR, and it was a role I enjoyed for many years. Thank you and R.I.P.

Very sad to hear of Jacqui's passing. Inspirational to see how she still worked so hard with so many causes through her illness, I think her last one was a drive to get women to football matches together at a time when I quite frankly would've been too terrified and worried to be campaigning about anything else.

I know she fitted a lot into the last few years, including a trip to New Zealand she'd always wanted to do. I hope that her achievement and enjoyment in life can bring some comfort to her family and friends at this sad time.

Rest In Peace Jacqui, a football and Altrincham supporter to the core.

I've jut found an old PM on here from Jacqui giving me the news the cancer was back and she had been given "just months to live".....it was dated 27 December 2015.  She put up a hell of a fight.

Still incredibly sad that it was far far too soon.
