So with footballflags.co.uk we're looking at £120 for a 10ft x 5ft flag which should be easy enough to raise between us, it seemed there was enough interest.
Says it has a 4-7 day order completion so we could have it by the last game of the season (which would be great) if we can get the money together quickly.
Rather than just create a design on behalf of everyone I've made four and created a poll. Wording similar on all but the colour varies. I'll set a fundraising page up once a design has 'won.' No St. George's - I don't think it's very commemorative.

PS. Sorry it's taken so long to get sorted. Will be a great addition to the Golf Road and a nice tribute from us all.

Great idea seen the funds already hit what about continuing raiding funds for like someone mentioned earlier a plaque or commissioned painting/small statue to stay in the bar?

It’s all raised mate, no worries. Wouldn’t know what to do with any extra money - maybe hang on to it and see what else we can sort out. Cheers though.

If there is extras money and donations to b given, open up a bank account with somebody trustworthy to take care of it, people could still donate, with monies being used for future causes, and maybe the. Odd donation to radio robins etc

Just an update - this has been ordered and estimated to arrive in time for the final game of the season. I didn't realise it was possible, but I received some extra donations on top of the £120. The extra money has gone towards paying for the shipping (I was going to sort that myself) and it has left £12 spare. I'll hold onto it and put it towards whatever comes next.

Thanks for sorting this, one possible use for the remaining amount would be to donate to MENCAP, donations were requested to them at Kenny's funeral.
So long as you're not out of pocket, donating the rest of the money back to the club would be favourable for me; and also probably Kenny. Thanks for sorting this, great gesture for a lovely fella.

MENCAP is a good shout Steve. They did a lot for Kenny over the years.

I was given an extra £10 at the Grantham game and now have £22 spare which will be donated to Mencap very soon.
The flag is scheduled to be delivered before 13:00 tomorrow. Just in time for the game, which is great.
