Anybody who was at this match will know that the penalty shootout was in the new ABBA format, where each team has two successive penalties following the first. Apparently, every other tie which went to penalties was in the traditional ABAB format, and I am told this is still correct unless competition rules dictate otherwise.
So, Ashton could potentially appeal, if my information is correct, and if they can be bothered for this minor competition because of a referee's mistake. As the score was 3-3 after four penalties each, I can't see how the format made a difference, anyway, but just hope a more important match doesn't have to get postponed.

Does that make it Ashton’s “waterloo”? :-\

Or the winner takes it all?

It's the name of the game I suppose......

I have a dream that we'll get to the final of this competition.
