For bloody Telford. He could have done better if we're honest.....in fact, under PP, he'd have been flourished here.

I'm pretty confident that a couple of the wingers brought in by our new manager are better than Newby. Agreed he was quite talented but I couldn't get over the fact that he was very lightweight....very probably the reason Barrow have let him go.

It seemed that Elliot Newby gave more whilst on loan than some contracted players combined last season.  Wish him every success, one of the few who can say "not me guv" in last seasons charade.

In the few games I saw him play in, he appeared to be our only threat.
