Quite apt, considering we'll be playing ale house football soon.

More like the Chuckle Brothers...

Will Haining to step down at Ashton United at end of season.
Chances?

Chances?
He wants a complete break from football. He's also only been in joint charge of Ashton for a few months so his experience is very limited.

Wonder if Curtis Woodhouse has thrown his hat in to the ring?

That's pissed me off more than Bower and Boshell to be honest.

Got a notification when Kevin Nicholson followed the club on Twitter earlier on.

Interesting. Managed a great escape at Torquay in his first season, but hasn't exactly set the world alight. Why would he be interested in dropping 2 levels to manage us and more importantly what, if anything, is he likely to know about Evostik fare?

It's not the same chap. This is the gentleman that was at Cardiff academy

Yes they regularly outspend Darlington for players in the north east. We should be attracting the best of the northwest
-
Parkinson at Nantwich and Curzon manager would be a safe bet for at least a playoff place next season. You'd imagine with our playing budget they'd put a league winning squad together pretty quickly.
Flanagan at Curzon at least knows what we have already.
-
But are these people friends of the chairman?
These names are all a bit irrelevant as the chairman and board will be making the choice, and their record in doing so is chronic.
-
Flanagan not only knows what we have already, he also knows the Evostik.

Probably get more money and would be new challenge but a lot of pressure to deliver straight away less stress at Curzon

Curzon have big plans laid out....he'd be crazy to leave.

Flanagan said on Friday he's neither applied or been approached for the Altrincham job

Fair enough.

Struggling to think of anyone who's currently in a job who might have gone for it

Apart from Parkinson and Burr, I'm also struggling to think of anyone. There are of course out-of-workers such as Gary Brabin and dare I say it, Frank Sinclair 😈
-
No chance Brabin will drop so low and Sinclair errrr NO!!
-
Sinclair? Hopeless.

Dennis Greene
-
Andy Morrell? Northern-based manager of Tamworth. Well, we can always hope...
-
Dennis Greene
I believe he was interviewed last time (probably hearsay) and we could do worse I suppose.
-
Dennis Greene
I believe he's relocated to the North West so will almost certainly have applied. Not sure what sort of contacts he'd have around this area but he'd be a better option than Doughty.

Lucinda Greene would be a better option than Doughty.
