Are we gonna get out of this slump?????
-
Probably when some serious money comes in,the best bet being a fan winning millions on the lottery which means we could be waiting for a long time
-
But let's get rid of the board and kick out all the squad while we're waiting for that serious investment, yeah?

Not the solution

I fail to see how any change at board level will turn results around
-
Alty forum in failure to sense irony shocker.
-
Irony and sarcasm are banned! Be warned!

I think the Board need to release money for Harvey to do his job. If that means appealing for support from outside then they should do it. Not doing anything isn't good enough.

However should irony and sarcasm be given the opportunity to resign before being kicked out?

I fail to see how they won't

Irony and sarcasm are doing an excellent job for the club.
It would be a disgrace if social media forced them to resign..

Maybe babs maybe, but I'm sure there will be no change at board level unfortunately

We're heading to the abyss

Maybe Barbara Pig could suggest a viable and sustainable way of this pickle.
I bet Barbara Pig has a load of realistic and sensible alternatives to what is currently happening at both a board and playing level.
I can't wait to hear Barbara Pig's suggestions.
Barbara Pig?

I don't see one, hence why I said we're heading to the abyss
Quite straightforward
We're kippered, started with the appointment of Neil Tolson

Oh what a shame. I was really hoping Barbara Pig would have all the answers.

I'd say given our current predicament wanting the board out is really not that inflammatory.
I couldn't go today for personal reasons. Despite the result I'm still gutted I could t make it. I'll hopefully be at nunny, but I think Jim needs a few months to get on top of this and who knows where we'll be by then. Obviously bottom of the league actually, but how far adrift?

whats you suggestion Mike?

Trust in Barbara Pig, that's my suggestion.

Any reason you seem to be cyber bullying Barbara Pig? Surely you have better things to do?!

I confess to being a little bemused by this.

To be honest, there was a distinct possibility of this happening, at least Jim has seen how big a mess we are actually in, injuries not withstanding. I am sure he will take steps now to put things right. He will make the changes necessary, bring in new players and release others. I imagine it will be October /November before we start seeing major changes in results. I am more concerned about Tim's injury at present. We have to juggle with the squad to combat injuries, playing players out of position as we did today.
At this stage of the season there is time to adjust and rework the squad accordingly, but Jim has the experience to see this through and I know we will come good. The club cannot spend much on players so they will free spaces up to bring new ones in, but give him time to sus things out and learn fully about the players. By early December I think we will be fine, then the ongoing improvements will come to fruition. At least he now knows how it really is.

No way Steve, watch those highlights. Do you think any other club overnight would swap their team for that??
We've literally in one summer thrown away ten years of on pitch building. We are worse now than when GH survived the club into the conf north. Do you remember that? One game v Runcorn or whoever that kept the club as we know it alive? Well forget all of that now, we've literally given all that survival away by 'sticking by losers'.
So so so sad
-
As we all feared a huge mountain to climb after the destruction of the 1st team by the last manager
We are going to have to trust in Jim and be patient
This 12 months has been utterly depressing
We must be due some good fortune soon
Please!

They say that "you make your own luck". I have confidence in Jim Harvey's ability to turn things round eventually, but it's a long healing process that needs maximum effort from not only him, but the board, the players....and yes the fans.
And at every level it has to be "shape up or ship out".

I think the treatment of Barbara Pig on this thread is disgraceful. Maybe it will make it into the chairmans programme notes for Saturday??
