Seriously, though, I will go along with whatever the triumvirate selects & wish them all the luck in the world. I travel to Kiddy feeling less woebegone than a few hours ago ...

I think Sinclair emerged with credit yesterday. He looked like a footballer at least.

I don't necessarily disagree with any of the above points, but for me step three should be step one every week unless he has some kind of debilitating injury.

That would be a lot more solid and with pace/height to bring on later if need be, but we need more quality.

Cain at left back. Did really well in pre-season and surely deserves a chance.

Cain maybe a good shout. Agree that H-Cregg is a bit lightweight Pukka but Lynch is defo not a winger!

I'd leave Lynch out and to be honest, if he's not on contract I'd be telling him to have a look at going back to Clitheroe. Totally out of his depth in this league, like a lot of them, and offers absolutely nothing as a footballer.
Although I wasn't expecting much from Sinclair, he didn't do too badly so maybe go with him up front with Reevesy and Lawrie behind them. If Goodall isn't fit I'd been inclined to put Patterson in midfield, where he was signed to play, and stick with Heathcote and Sumner at full back until we can get some new players in.
