Title: Rob Dawson RIP
Post by: salealty on July 08, 2016, 01:07:01 PM: It is with great sadness that I bring the news that Rob passed away this morning.

Rob was a stalwart fan of the club through the 70s and 80s. I'm sure that fans of the club during those times would recognise Rob even if they don't know the name.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

RIP Rob.

I remember Rob well from the 80s, he was my brother's best man in fact, but he was at least a foot shorter than me! Shame he'd not been for a while, he was a regular for years, but amongst a number of health issues he was on dialysis and I don't think went out much in recent years. RIP, he was a funny guy
