Fully agree, it's to easy to not go though, so people won't. Our supporters only really rally themselves when it's a life threatening crisis. After not being at home since mid November and being in relegation trouble, the town should be turning out to support, but they won't.

One bright spot: Woking's Chris Arthur was sent off against FC Halifax Town yesterday, so I presume that he will be suspended on Tuesday evening.

He was mightily impressive against us last season when we lost 3-0 at the J Davidson Stadium.

A large communications pylon was erected by the council to direct fans to the ground (like how the government built the M62 for rugby league supporters) - follow it to the ground

Seeing the state of Luca's nose on Saturday (when the injured parties were sat behind the goal watching) it's quite clear that he's going to be missing for a while. I wasn't desperately impressed by Mr. Holness when Tranmere came to us in August but his arrival will enable Heathcote to be nursed - Saturday was a bridge too far for Sam at this point - & should ease the pressure on Scott Leather.
The lad from Burnley did well on Saturday & ought to start tonight; the boy from Bradford was in & out of the game & the striker from Tranmere, apart from one header, was anonymous. I'd prefer to have both of them on the bench tonight, to be honest, rather than starting, but we shall see. Woking didn't look bad at their place in August so tonight, for all sorts of reasons, won't be easy.

Well done to Lee and all the lads tonight, that's help lift any gloom around the place and long may it continue.

Players that are two yards faster than the opposition is a big help. The new boys were up for it and I thought some of the regulars decided they'd better step up a gear.

Great result. Well done everyone. How nice to see us attacking in numbers for a change, instead of the big hoof up the park to the lone striker. 4-4-2 every time for me. I still don't like our leading striker being left on the bench, unless he was not 100% of course. Keep this standard of performance up and we will shoot up the league, especially with all these home game to come. :) :)

PS. And only the 2nd time this season we have scored 3 goals. Still undefeated at home in 2016. ;)

Rankine was outstanding tonight, but Scott Leather was back to his best alongside Holness (who was no slouch himself) and that made a massive difference at the back. Ginnelly is destined for greater things. Margetts worked his socks off and took his goal superbly. Simon Richman didn't look remotely as if he was concussed just 75 hours earlier !

All in all, a fine TEAM performance which earned its just reward.

I should expand. The football we played was nothing special at all. We kept things very simple and took our chances. The difference was the manner in which our players got about the pitch. I've not seen that in months.

Forget coaching, analysis, figures and stats, some times you can just tell a footballer. One that's got over his 6.5 million price tag and gone on loan to a club like us to enhance his craft rather than sit in the under 21s (cause his agent says it's better) and to celebrate his goal like that. Will be a baller that lad.

Difference tonight : a shake up.................some quality / steady performances from the loan players who's energy and effort seemed to rub-off on the rest of the team. Well done to everyone who set foot on the pitch tonight - everyone did their bit to secure a deserved victory.

Holness at CB looked like he had been with us for months - a real solid performance from someone who probably needed directing to the home dressing room before kick-off. The young player from Burnley, Ginnelly did well and fair play to him, really looked like he was enjoying being here rather than being 'sent out to the wilderness' to get experience. Hopefully the arrangement will be beneficial to him and us.
Jon Margretts never gave up and chased every ball and a cool finish for our third goal. Great effort from him and he got MoM (although Rankine was a close contender for me). The lad from Bradford (Henry) only had a cameo, but he almost ran half the length of the pitch to score before he knocked it a bit far and was closed down. ............apologies if my spelling is a bit out on the new players names

I still think we are a little bit late with the reinforcements (although I don't pretend to know the loan rules or club finances) but this should be encouraging to all of those like me whose glass is half empty at the moment

Sorry lads. The news down here suggested all that snow from the US had turned to rain and been dumped on the NW. My wider point was 826 a decent gate midweek for our first home game in ages which I stand by.

Great win, the ref missed a hand ball for the pen, by a woking defender, but it did not matter anyway as seconds later he had no choice, but to give us one. Ranks never stopped chasing. The crowd never stopped singing and I got to stand in my old spot just to the right of the goal(my lucky spot) .Ref missed a pen for us in the second half and he did not want to book any player in a yellow shirt.Next game for me Torquay end of Feb.

Fair interview by Gary Hill. I thought we were excellent last night, and played with an energy we've not had for a while. 6 wins 2 draws is what it's all about. A big win against an in form side, lets go again Saturday and get what we can against another in form side. Decent midweek crowd for us to be fair. Let's hope for four figures on Saturday, the club need the cash flow after such a long lay off

I have been one to criticise the 4-4-2 formation but we were excellent last night. I don't think we could sustain that tempo for the remaining games but I enjoyed that performance. Ginnelly and Margetts helped in that formation, along with Rankine they harassed from the front, closed down and attacked with purpose.Ginnelly is a talent and can cross the ball. Margetts is excellent at closing down and kept going. We put a fair few crosses in, even the full backs got high up. Just so much more positive, even kept one up on corners and Margetts held it up a couple of times to allow the defence to get out ( about bloody time we stopped all coming back).Scott looked more confident with a more experienced defensive partner.Rankine was immense, midfield worked hard and counter attacked well. Excellent performance by the whole team. Keep it going boys
