Not sure why such a dull slow poor side as Sunderland won't at least give him a go. Still should get a few games in the championship next year...
-
Looks to have bulked up a bit which is needed for his type of play otherwise he'd just be kicked to high heaven. Still got the same style of play though, I reckon if they had four or five more points he'd have got a gig, relegation scraps are not usually the time to blood young players. Think his degree finishes this June? See what happens next season.

Duncan scores both Sunderlands goals in the under 21s win at Fulham.😀

Watch Duncan taking on Norwich City U21's last Monday here:-

-
wow - he looked by a mile the best player on the pitch :)
-
he's better than being stuck in a reserve team somewhere playing training ground games.
-
absolutely staggered a team struggling for goals doesn't give him a run

The standard of under 21 and reserve football according to many experts is dreadful so that maybe why they don't want to give him a game
-
would a duncan watmore watch run fast?

Duncan's two goals vs Fulham U21 last week. Both great team goals IMO http://youtu.be/CqUmWsxqWmE

Thanks Ian. The first one particularly is a great pass to free the guy down the right, and Duncan's change of foot is sheer quality. Deserved better than a practically empty stadium.

I hope he's got top representation touting his name around clubs that might want to use his talents rather than sideline them.
-
I appreciate the standard is a massive step up but I've watched Sunderland a few times recently and I honestly feel Duncs could make a difference. It's ridiculous how he hasn't been given a chance. If I was him and the interest was there I'd go to a top Championship side and get noticed that way..I've been so excited all season, I hope they get battered.

Thought he would make the bench today , hasnt .

In the bottom 3 tonight.....he'll quite likely get a chance in the Championship next season.

Scores the winner again for the Sunderland U21s against Spurs U21s.
-
Scores again the winner, in the 1-0 win over Evertons U21s.
Fith game on the bounce he has scored.
Keep going son.
Must be given a chance soon!!!

Perhaps Sunderland don't want to pay Altrincham any money as his premiership debut activates a fee to us?
-
I had harboured similar thoughts - but the cost of relegation is likely to be £20m to Sunderland. If our trigger payment for him making his debut is bigger than that, I would understand their caution.
I was with a customer who is a Sunderland fan yesterday evening in a bar in Orlando. He was quick to show me the video of Sunderland v Everton. As in previous recent matches, everything constructive went through Duncan. It is bizarre that he doesn't even warm the bench. My customer is pinning all his hopes on scratching a draw this weekend before beating Leicester in the last match. "All we have to do is get to 35 points because then we will be above Newcastle"

I just think there is a reluctance or perhaps a nervousness about blooding someone who is effectively untried when fighting a crucial relegation battle. Rightly or wrongly of course depending on your viewpoint.
I think he could be a very effective impact sub for 20-25 mins and would cause opponents to radically change their game plan.

Good post

I think Duncan should have been given a chance, whether he'd get one now at this stage of the season another matter.

Another quality goal... https://youtu.be/4GgykVK0Dg0 (https://youtu.be/4GgykVK0Dg0)
