Title: tonight
Post by: bumble on November 25, 2014, 05:19:35 PM
Braintree    v   Welling United - Home win.
Dartford   v   Chester - Chester win, as I think theyll be more than safe, and keeps our 5 point gap to the relegeation zone
Dover    v   Nuneaton Town - Not sure, but same as southport a draw would be ideal as it keeps nuneaton winless in a while, and dover in touch
Southport   v   Aldershot Town - Draw keeps Southport below us, and aldershot close enough as I can see them dragged in.

Macc     v   Torquay United
Grimsby    v   Woking
Kiddy     v   Wrexham

Few interesting fixtures in there. We cant go in to the relegation zone tonight fortunately. But could end up 2 points off it in 20th.

Potential dodgy Macc result:

Quote
Looks like something may be afoot in the Macclesfield v Torquay game. Looking at their recent form, Macclesfield have been good at home with a home record of 7-4-0 whilst sitting in 4th compared to Torquay in 10th, yet somehow Torquay are favourites for this match at 2.58 (betfair). Also, looking at the other games in the Conference tonight, there is between roughly £1000-£2000 matched in the match odds market on betfair, whereas the Macclesfield v Torquay match has £26,000! With £20,000 of that matched on Torquay.

Aldershot 2 up (v Southport)
Dover 3 up (v Nunny)
Dartford 1 up

Probably going to need atleast 52 points to stay up that's a bit of a worry

You go of matches not months and we've played 22 but we should be good enough

Nuneaton getting hammered by Dover 4-0

Chester and Aldershot beating Dartford and Southport as it stands

Could do with Braintree scoring.

We drop one place to 19th as a result of tonight's games but there is clear daylight between us and the bottom four. It could be a lot worse - we're halfway to 50 pts. with one game to go in the first half of the season.

I think we could take that at the start of the season.

You may be correct Petro.........and I hope you are........not 100% keen on the AFC clubs doing well so soon after bankruptcy........just my petty view folks

But.......have to say it is too soon to conclude........Vics dead and buried a few years ago..anchored at the bottom, bankrupt, no manager, no players etc etc.....they then win 7 of last ten and finish above......you guessed it - a team in red and white

Let's hopefully write off these two off in March along with (please, please, please) Alfreton Miners Welfare.
