Title: Wrexham Highlights ( with no replays )
Post by: markecky on November 23, 2014, 05:43:43 PM
You have to subscribe for full highlights  but most are on here, just without replays:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afuVSdSjctI

As Phil says, in slow motion you can see the Gillespie miss of the decade did take a nasty bobble but he had time to take a touch and put it in.

A diving header from Jame Lawrie?  Whatever next.

Top day out, three valuable away points.

Every player has one of those misses every now and then but we won so I'll let him off  :D

After watching the highlights I have to admit that I didn't see why Moult got a red, but the other two were the right calls imo.

You wouldn't expect anything else to be fair but the commentary of the Alty goals is wonderfully downbeat. The fact that the second and third ones were so scruffy only adds to the effect.

He missed a penalty against Alfreton as well, he is just sh*t deadwood. His wages are a waste of club money

Another very poor signing

He is a good player, I like everything about his game until he shoots.

Worlds most bitter commentator?

Scott has to learn not to dive in......the first Wrexham red an absolute joke...looked like the Wrexham player completely accidentally just trod on simon's foot!

The commentary is better than this: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=754395991263965

Apologies for language on this vid, but the commentator is slightly less biased than Alan Green!

Moults red card has just been rescinded by the Welsh FA.
Thats a real slap in the face for the ref. who was standing about a yard away from the incident!!

Do you ever have a good word to say about anyone or anything? You must live in a gloomy, bitter world. Really not trying to wind you up, but it's so sad to see.

Certainly wish to apologise if you believe I am giving out insults - I'm not. I was merely expressing my opinion that the vast majority of your posts seem to be of a negative nature. Pointing me out to admin would appear to be another one!

I am entitled to my opinion as you are yours, however it is not for you to pass judgement on me. That is not what the forum is for

Sadly I am seriously thinking of leaving this forum, not that I want to, but certain individuals are making it untenable as far as I am concerned. Some people really need to grow up and stop being utter pillocks. To me, this was a place to discuss things about the football club we all allege to love and support yet certain individuals seem to want to use this as some sort of confrontational arena probably worthy better on Jeremy Kyle's show. You know who you are and if you don't you need help.

Anyway, about these Wrexham highlights with no replays....

I try and stay off this place in the week these days as it totally depresses me.

I'm sorry you feel offended by the posts on this thread.  However if you create an internet persona which is the equivalent of a "shock jock" and your posts are nearly all negative it's eventually going to get some peoples backs up.

They are your opinions and this forum gives you a platform to get them out to people.

However some people are going to react ( and some will agree ) but you're hardly backward in coming forward and you can deal with them pretty well I think.  You always have a right of reply and a direct contact with the poster via a message.

Sorry but agree with you Mark - Some of you may have noticed I do not post as often as I used to. This is why, and I now limit the times I go onto the site. it's great to read when we win, but sole destroying when we lose. I would rather try and remain upbeat that we are currently reasonably holding our own in this league. I look forward to the games, but not always reading the forum afterwards like I used to!!
