Title: This may well be nonsense
Post by: Mrs Warbouys on October 30, 2014, 09:25:53 AM
But this has been published elsewhere

Warrington v Exeter - Friday night on BBC
Halifax v Bradford - Sunday midday on BT (Police wouldn't let it be played in the Saturday evening slot)
Havant & Waterlooville v Preston - Monday night on BT

Sunday 2pm games:
Portsmouth v Aldershot
Coventry v Worcester
Forest Green v SC**thorpe
Stevenage v Maidstone
Braintree v Chesterfield
Gosport v Colchester
Blyth v Altrincham
Norton v Gateshead

As I say not confirmed , and I hope it's not the case

Nothing on the FA site.

That's the kind of spread of matches I'd expect for this new Sunday slot, although I'd be very surprised if the Weston-Super-Mare game isn't on TV.

A 2pm kick-off on Sunday would make it impossible for me to attend, so I too hope this turns out to be bunk.

Warrington's site is reporting their game against Exeter as being on the Saturday.  Whether that is just an assumption on their part, or they know for sure I cannot tell.

I would think that in all likelihood, that this is factually correct.

FA website confirms Warrington, Halifax & Havant as above & that there will be 8 ties on Sunday afternoon - 2pm kick-offs presumed as there will be a 'Final Score' on BBC from 1.55pm - though at this point it doesn't say which ties. I fear Flynny may be right ...

They want to be pulling a digit out of an orifice.

Some of us have plans to make, costly ones at that!

Very unhappy if this is going to be the case. I'm working the sunday and I doubt at i'll be able to change anything at a week's notice. Have the BBC bought the FA Cup to the extent that they can dictate so many fixture changes? So much for the magic of the FA Cup if the tv audience who probably aren't interested in the clubs involved take precedence over the fans who are.

Sunday service, I'll be there, it beats my usual drive-by Mass.
