I suspect this was why we set up so negative yesterday. Don't know why he kept Reeves on for 90 mins, running his bollox off chasing dead cats. May well have had Pouncy doing the same thanks task.

As as has been mentioned elsewhere I think Lawrie is out of his depth. don't agree that Richman and Moult are though .

Although I agree with your basic point re Reeves, it should be pointed out that Pouncey is playing for Abbey Hey at the moment & is therefore out of contention. Yesterday was the first time that 'damage limitation' seemed to be a major objective - possibly the absence of both Clee & Crowther forced the management's hand, but I agree completely that leaving Reeves on his own against two tall, physically strong centre-halves was a pointless exercise. If we are to get anything at Nuneaton on Saturday I suspect one or both of them needs to be available.

Nuneaton haven't scored a goal yet, and whilst we all know this league is a big step up, but to expect anything less than a minimum 2 wins out of the next three is doing ourselves down.

So we go away to play a team that haven't scored a goal yet. What could possibly go wrong? Teams with records like that must look down their fixture list to see when they are due to  play us.

And 72 hours later we travel to a club who've shipped 18 goals in 5 games......bound to get a hatful, aren't we ?

We should be on 5 points easily by now with another 7 in the next 3 games

Whilst I want us to get 9 points, the one I really want us to win is the Dartford game. The first time at Moss Lane we will play likely relegation candidates. Win these matches and we'll be on our way.

I think Nuneaton and Alfreton are also likely relegation candidates - maybe more so after their starts and the players they have lost

Yes,wouldn't argue with that at all. However, my point is winning the home games against teams who will be down at the bottom will be key.

we will need to do a bit more than just beat the bottom 4 at home

But that is the lowest benchmark we should achieve. Of course we will need a lot more.
