great effort from Mark,as a long distance runner over 4 hrs is a hell of a time to be running for.2 of my marathons were over 4 hours due to injury so i do now the effort he is putting in.Once again well done, only another 12k to go.

I managed to take this photo as Mark ran past - sorry it's not the best but I was trying to give him a big clap and a cheer so the photo was taken in a bit of a hurry!

Am I alone in that that every mention of what Mark Maddox is doing today makes me come over all emotional?

How can someone be so brave and selfless under such dreadful circumstances?

 I just feel inadequate.

We have those photos behind the bar "pride" etc.. and those on the wall such as the Nicky v Burnley one

I think we should have one of Mark finishing the race entitled "Determination"

Splendid idea.

It would be marvellous to see Mark back at Moss Lane so that we can honour his superhuman achievement in completing the London Marathon.

An extraordinary feat accomplished by an extraordinary individual.

As someone who struggled round the course of the New Forest Marathon a few years ago, I remember just how hard it was, Mark Maddox deserves all the plaudits coming his way and more. Some very good stuff on this thread and I like the idea of some kind of permanent tribute to him at Moss Lane or him being introduced to the crowd before our Play Off Semi Final. Legend.

I'm off work cos I just can't cope with my own issues at the things at the moment -0 and here's Mark thinking about all those he can help.
