Leather was outstanding against Halifax and Chester, he is quality and to think he only left sale grammar 3 years ago too! He must be started over Hall in future!
And Richman... When he joined he was rubbish and made everyone nervous when he came on, now he's a different player! The last several games he has been a key player and his two goals yesterday can only make him more confident!
So with this in mind the team for Guiseley should be...

It must be Richman for Moult I imagine.
Simon Richman performs a dual role for the team now, helps out the attack when needs be and then gives support to Carl Rodgers in strengthening the midfield. He's rapidly becoming indispensable.

I dont think that Simon Richman has ever actually been rubbish as is suggested in the previous post.
Perhaps some people didn't much fancy him as a player and that is their right but Rubbish, I don't think so.
If we think back a number of correspondents on here wanted rid of Scott Leather!!!

It's the internet. People sound off in the heat of the moment. We've had all sorts. Nicky Clee should have been shipped out after two games. Reevesy had lost it. Rodgers wasn't interested. Sinnott was sh*t and only cared about playing nice football as was the case with tin-pot Farsley (the three promotions were mere coincidence, of course).
Fun as it is to exchange views, 50% of forum discussion is utter bollocks and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

I think that his principal problem last season was that he was simply too injury-prone and, consequently, he missed too many games and suffered a rather stop-start campaign.
This season has seen him begin to establish himself in the side and he has improved significantly, as demonstrated by his superb performance against FC Halifax yesterday.
However (and I'm looking at you here, Hughesy!), he is still not our player of the season....!

Obviously Richman should start over Rodgers.

No hilarious banter here, it is my honest opinion. I thought what he said about Richman was complete nonsense, just as I did about his team selection. Even without the glaring error of his of omitting Richman after banging on about how much of a revelation he is. It's an opinion I've formed over time, not name calling or anything.

I think he just means that with being a small club our fans are very much a huge family and so should respect eachothers opinions. Therefore name calling is unacceptable.

I'm pleased richman has started to fulfil his potential coz I championed him when a lot were ...shall we say..... not convinced......finally I have been proven right about a player I stuck by after a list of failures including chris young and that forward with a blonde Mohican......
I agree with ATS about his most of the forum being utter bollocks.....in particular them stupid posts defending referees and their utterly ludicrous decisions ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Moult maybe better than Rodgers however Rodgers works harder so I'd go for him

Moult and Rodgers do entirely different jobs really so a simple comparison could be argued to be of little real value
