Title: Different World - Part Two
Post by: (S)ALTY on November 26, 2012, 04:05:29 PM
Mr Tevez's pay slip has been posted on the internet

It's tough at the top, particularly when the FA impose their own justice of a £24.00 Fine !

Exactly why I got so pissed off with the Premier League >:( >:(
At least most non league players can kick with both feet and don't roll around at the first available opportunity.
You get some Premier players on say £70,000 a week who commentators say have a "weaker side" - bollocks - I'd expect someone I was paying that much to to be able to volley one in from the edge of the box with his cock!! ;) ;)

Jimmy,

They don't "earn" lots of money, they receive lots of money.

It's an important distinction....

what do you expect when 40k + fans will pay £40 to watch every week, businesses paying for corporate prices to show off to their new clients, i wouldn't mind so much but most premiership teams European records are pathetic considering its "the best league in the world".

Top flight football is 95% media bollocks, overhype, plastic wanker fans, radio phone-ins, rip-off prices and a host of other things unpalatable to any sane human being.

They can keep it.

It's a sickening amount of money but at least he contributes sh*t loads in tax and national insurance unlike entertainers such as  Jimmy Carr.

I'd agree with the 95% plastic wanker fans. Not all of the fans that support premier league teams are plastic wankers but there are a huge majority of people that class themselves as supporters of premier league teams that could not find their way to the stadium of "their" team, name half of the usual playing squad or tell you the last time they watched a game.

They are in the same group of people who walk around town wearing a united/city/whoever shirt whilst "their" team is playing either locally or, as is commonplace nowadays, on TV. And then after the game has finished and somebody mentions it they are the best/biggest fan in the world, are outraged/delighted by the score and then go on and on about a game they haven't seen and make wild assumptions about it. (The referee was sh*t, "X" is the biggest waste of space and should never be seen in the shirt again or "Y" is the best thing since Pele.)

These people piss me off something chronic. And the majority of the time they turn round to me and tell me I know absolutely nothing about football because of the position of the team I support.

I find it hard to believe that a player of Tevez's status would be employed on a PAYE basis so I'd guess that the payslip is fake. If not, he needs a better accountant.

I was waiting for someone to point that out. A top player on his monthly take home has got to be a bit more creative in seeking to conceal his taxable earnings from the man you'd think.

too many so called top players are paid via tax free offshore loans that they never have to pay back.. not much tax & NI from the premier league me thinks!
