yippy a purpose built liabrary, that will bring the punters flocking back and allow them to leave their kindles and internet at home.

they can probably pay for that out of the parking fees and fines they have collected that have killed a once thriving town centre.

Would love to see a proper tourist information centre in the library - like we used to have on the ground floor opposite the bus station. This could be in conjunction with - eg - Alty Forward, Trafford Council and in partnership with Alty Fc selling Alty FC goods to punters who might otherwise not go near Moss lane.
I went into the "Tourist Info" area in the library a couple of weeks ago and was told, "Tourists are better than one!"
