1-0 Alty Reevies,
from JL
8.45pm kick off; hope our coach driver is not out of driving time by the time the match ends
Lee Sinnott calling players off pitch to dressing room to prepare for kick off. One "bulb" is out of action in floodlights but rest seem OK
Alty have dropped three places before kick off according to Footballwebpages live table which takes other matches into account tonight!
8.44 Teams are being presented to each other
Captains tossing coin
8.47 kick off!
2 Trinity freekick against Havern 25 yards left

The main reason Damian will not beat Sir Jacks record is that the 82 goals included 27 in cup competitions.  OUtside of Alsager I am not sure we have scored that many in Cups this century!!

Some of last evening's attendances:

Gloucester City: 201;

Droylsden: 202;

Oxford City: 203;

Histon: 204.

Like how it is in ascending order ::)

But seeing attendences like these make me think 2 things!
. How do they survive with them numbers and little income?
. I'm glad Alty aren't like this and i hope in 50 years we are not either!

This thread is bloody massive considering it was just a normal league game :D

On my gap year, slombering back to my apartment in Israel slightly intoxicated, so happy today. Smashing result, scared that Reeevesy will get that offer to steal him away, but I hope not. What a cracking player!!! Well done LS too!

And has Alty's 4-2 win brought on another one of the Gainsborough Trinity Chairman's "Thunderclap Headaches"...?

If so, will they need a Newman at the helm ? (sorry Barry, you set 'em up, I'll knock 'em in.....)

Clinical finishing there, Phil.

That musical trivia knowledge certainly warrants the award of your 300th Goodwin.

Incidentally, what time did the supporters' coach eventually get back to Alty last night/this morning then?

It was mate, straight from work job as well so felt fresh this morning. Worth it though, it was like watching someone really good on FIFA at times last night.

That was a pretty bizarre but scintillating 1st half. Some incredible interplay from the 4 front men. Reevesy gave a finishing masterclass.

We defended very well too, Hall, Havern and Rodgers excellent. So too was Scott Leather when he replaced Densmore, really impressive.

A word of praise to a player I've been critical of, Ryan Brooke, really seemed up for it and played very well.

Man of the match - Jake Moult by a country mile, superb on the ball and linked play together for us, getting the ball to the 4 attackers quickly and quality, so impressed with him.

I have also been impressed with Moult while he has been here. I don't know why Alfereton never played him ???

He seems to have settled in really well too, i would love it if he got an extended loan after the 3 month are up!

There were various rumours about not getting on with the manager

Our gain, their loss as of the minute
