After being away from home for the last two seasons, you can only assume we will get a home fixture first up.They like to give newly promoted sides a game against a bit of a "name", and they cant give all three home fixtures, BPA will more than likely be a midweeker. So my guess is our opening fixture will be at home to either Brackley or Oxford City

Anyone else here get to Fisher Athletic on the opening day of the 1990/91 season? Sticks in my mind as a hard going nil nil draw with less than 500 enjoying the late summer.
It wasn't really a good indicator of what was to become that season including the late late winner against Kettering Town. Superb celebration in the Golf Road without the crush barriers......made my decade that ;D

ha ha yes i do wish we could see his pics he took loads ! Didnt feel great at that point we had somehow managed 2 large bottles of jager and had started on the cans !

As regards Christmas/New Year fixtures, I'm guessing Stalybridge will now play Droylsden, leaving us with a possible double header against Vauxhall. How exciting.........

If we're lucky Vauxhall will get Colwyn Bay, I suppose the odds are on Chester going up to North Wales, though!
